Hi Friends! I have some exciting news!
I’m so happy to introduce the newest NK Creative Studios’ team member, Victoria! Since she’s basically in charge of blogging, I’ll let her tell you a little bit about herself …
Hi, I am Victoria Watson and I am 16 years old. I’m in grade 11 at South Carleton High School and I am currently in a four-credit full day cooperative education program.
In grade 10, I began to have an interest in photography so I decided to take a photography course at my school and fell in love with taking pictures. My favorite things to shoot are portraits, animals, and babies. I want to continue to expand my knowledge of photography and learn from other photographers what it’s like to be in this industry to see if photography is what I want to do in my future.
When I was looking for a photography studio to do my coop placement at, I had come across NK Creative Studios. I began to look through NK Creative Studios website and saw that Nicole had an assistant position that she offered to other photographers. After looking through her pictures and reading a bit about her and the company, I was very interested in doing my placement with her.
Once I had my interview for the position, I knew that I wanted NK Creative Studios to be my placement and I believe it was a perfect fit. It is a very inviting environment especially with the two doggies, Max and Piper (although their cuteness is very distracting, haha).
Nicole makes me feel like I am really apart of the team and keeps me busy throughout each day as I continue to learn from such a kind, sweet, funny and all-around awesome mentor! I love working with Nicole and look forward to continuing to work with her.
My coop program with NK Creative Studios began September 27th and will end on January 23rd, although I would love to continue to be Nicole’s assistant after my program is finished!
I hope you have a great day, I look forward to meeting many of you during your sessions this fall/winter season!
